ABC Supply integration — support & troubleshooting

Everything a contractor or an ABC Supply support rep needs to connect the integration, place an order, check its status, and resolve the handful of issues that actually come up.

Live in Production Authorization Code OAuth
Connecting your ABC Supply account

The integration uses ABC Supply's real Authorization Code OAuth flow — a contractor logs into their actual myABCSupply account inside AerialReports CRM, so pricing and ordering run under their real Ship-To and contract terms, never a shared or static key.

Go to Settings → Supplier Feeds

Find the ABC Supply card and click Connect.

Log in with real ABC Supply (myABCSupply) credentials

This redirects to ABC Supply's own login page. On success, the contractor lands back in the CRM with a green Connected status and their Ship-To account shown.

Pick a default Ship-To and branch (optional)

Ship-to / branch settings on the same card sets the default used when an order doesn't specify one. It can always be overridden per order.

Placing an order

Build the estimate or open Order Manager

Line items can come from an estimate (Estimate Builder → Order Materials) or be added directly in Order Manager.

Search real, branch-carried items

Typing a description calls ABC's Search Items, filtered to the connected Ship-To's selected branch — only items that branch actually carries appear.

Pricing is live

Picking an item immediately calls Price Items for that branch and shows the real unit price and stocking UOM. Changing quantity or UOM re-prices automatically.

Submit to ABC Supply

This calls ABC's real Place Order endpoint. A genuine confirmation_number comes back and is stored on the order — nothing is marked Submitted locally without ABC actually confirming it. A duplicate submit attempt on the same order is rejected (atomic claim), so an order can never be sent twice.

Order status & tracking

On connect, AerialReports CRM auto-registers a webhook for ORDER_UPDATE and ORDER_INVOICED — status changes on ABC's side flow back into the order automatically, verified against the signing secret on every inbound call. A Check ABC Status button on any submitted order also polls live via Get Order for an on-demand check.

Troubleshooting
Item search returns nothing for a description I know the branch carries

Search is scoped to the selected branch's carried, priced items — a branch can carry a SKU without ever setting a price, and an unpriced item won't surface. Try a shorter or more generic search term, or confirm the correct branch is selected under Ship-to/branch settings.

An item shows $0.00 / "price not set"

This means the branch carries the item but hasn't set a price on it — a real, documented state on ABC's side, not a bug on ours. We show it plainly rather than treating it as free or unavailable; the contractor should contact their branch directly for that item's price.

"Check ABC Status" returns a generic or unclear result

A freshly-submitted sandbox/test order can take time to appear in ABC's ERP — a status check on a very recent order may report it hasn't been processed yet. This resolves on its own; no action needed.

Connection shows "Not connected" after previously connecting

OAuth tokens can expire or be revoked on ABC's side (e.g. a myABCSupply password change). Reconnect via Settings → Supplier Feeds → ABC Supply → Connect — this is a normal re-auth, not data loss; previously submitted orders and their confirmation numbers are unaffected.

Order shows Submitted but the branch says they never received it

If the order genuinely has a real ABC confirmation number stored (visible on the order), it reached ABC's Place Order endpoint successfully — the branch-side delay is on ABC's fulfillment/ERP side, not the integration. If the order has no confirmation number despite showing Submitted, that indicates a failed submission that displayed incorrectly — use the "Submit to ABC Supply" recovery action on the order to resubmit for real, and contact us at the address below if it recurs.
